Saints March in to the Greenbrier

Saints - secondary imgOn July 24, 2014, the New Orleans Saints will arrive at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, to kick off their summer training camp. Designing and building the three practice fields (two are natural turf and one is synthetic) and 55,000 square foot multi-purpose building (which houses locker, weight and meeting rooms along with physical therapy accommodations and a kitchen and dining facility) in advance of the late July deadline has been no small feat, but the construction phase is moving along right on schedule.

Draper Aden Associates has been involved from the get-go with site planning and engineering design support in addition to surveying services. With broad experience in athletic facility and field design, Draper Aden Associates brings a local, knowledgeable eye to the multi-team project.

The Saints will practice 20 times from July 24-August 13 with most sessions (one in the morning and one in the afternoon each day) open to the public. In looking forward to the practice sessions, head coach Sean Payton explained that The Greenbrier “offers a tremendous opportunity to our team in a more moderate summer climate.”
