Draper Aden Associates Names Lud Eng as Chief Information Officer
BLACKSBURG, VA – July 13, 2021 – Draper Aden Associates, a Mid-Atlantic engineering, surveying, and environmental services firm, promoted Lud Eng to Chief Information Officer effective on July 1, 2021. Based in Blacksburg, he will provide strategic and day-to-day operational leadership to the firm’s information and technology team. Eng will continue to serve on the firm’s Executive Team.

In this role as CIO, Lud will lead our firm’s digital transformation to ensure that Draper Aden remains agile and innovative.”
Eng most recently was the firm’s Director of IT. He has been a Draper Aden team member for over 25 years and has extensive expertise in IT, technology, and managing complex digital systems.

Recognizing the value of professional development, he is an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and involved in ACEC’s Information Technology Forum. Eng earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech.
