MANASSAS, VA – May 17, 2021 – Draper Aden Associates, a Mid-Atlantic engineering, surveying, and environmental services firm, announced today that Kevin Shreiner, LS, PS will serve as the firm’s new Survey Division Manager. Based in the Manassas office, he will manage the firm’s Survey Division.

 

Shreiner has over 38 years of experience in the land development engineering industry working on projects located throughout Virginia and West Virginia. Specific experience includes boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, subdivision layout, topographic maps, plat preparation, legal descriptions, deed research as well as planning and performing quality control on GPS surveys.

Shreiner joined Draper Aden Associates in August 2020 as the Manassas Survey Team Leader. Prior to joining Draper Aden, he had held positions with Triad Engineering, Pennoni, and The Engineering Groupe. Shreiner also is a former Survey District Manager with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

Among recent notable projects, Shreiner managed survey efforts for expansions of the Quantico National Cemetery and the Culpeper National Cemetery. He also provided survey services for the new Lorton Police Station, Lorton Animal Shelter, and Prince William County Landfill-Cell A.

 

Recognizing the value of professional development, he is an active member and past President of the Virginia Association of Surveyors (VAS). Shreiner has served on the organization’s board of directors for eight years and continues to be a member of the board. He is also the current President of VAS’ Shenandoah Chapter.
