Located in the heart of the historic William and Mary campus, the West Utility Plant is designed to display the colorful pipes that distribute water to the college’s campus. The 12,000 SF building contains multiple chillers and boilers that service six buildings on campus. There is also room to add additional units to the plant to meet higher capacity needs in the future.
We provided survey, subsurface utility locating and mapping, and site and civil engineering services for this instantly iconic building. Our project team worked with RMF Engineering and Lord Aeck Sargent Architects as part of the design phase and with DPR Construction throughout the construction.
