Draper Aden provided site planning and engineering services for the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new 65,365 GSF student housing facility including topographic survey, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), site planning/civil engineering and LEED® evaluation services. Due to the existing slope of the site, stormwater planning and erosion and sediment control were especially challenging. Additionally, the new residence hall and amenities must be designed to tie into a large number of existing utilities and a concurrent construction project on an adjacent site. We were also involved in the master planning efforts for buildings 6, 7, and 8.
