The Southampton Solar Farm is located in Southampton County, Virginia. The project area of approximately 1,200 acres was previously agricultural land and spread over separate parcels. Improvements included solar arrays and related infrastructure, access roads, fencing, transmission lines, stormwater management BMPs, and temporary erosion controls.

Draper Aden provided topographic field survey, base mapping with AutoCAD, geotechnical investigation, soil borings, laboratory services, analysis, reporting, construction documentation, and 100% IR Scan/Thermal Survey of solar modules using a sUAS (drone).
