Draper Aden Associates provided surveying, geotechnical, and engineering design services for two 23,995 SF shell warehouse buildings, each with a 3,840 SF office wing on Lot 15 of the Ferncliff Business Park.

We worked with the Louisa County Economic Development Authority to assist a private landowner develop the parcel for future tenants on a tight timeframe to meet deadlines associated with funding.

The site required roughly 40,000 cubic yards of imported fill material with special placement requirements designed by our geotechnical engineers to limit settlement. Site work included asphalt parking lots and loading docks, concrete walks, a segmental block retaining wall, dumpster pads, and multiple on-site stormwater management facilities. Utilities includes connection to an existing water well, domestic and fire sprinkler water lines and appurtenances, sanitary and storm sewer systems, parking lot lighting, electrical equipment and services, and communication services.
