The Collegiate Academic Commons was built to create a new hub for Upper School student life, including a café, a media center, classrooms, meeting rooms and more. This one-story, multi-use education building is approximately 27,00 SF. On this project, we created a Building Information Model (BIM) to complete the design work for this LEED Silver building.

The building is steel-framed, with tube-framed trusses, steel tube columns, beams and open web steel joists. It has an 8-sided tower element and sloped roof surfaces using over-framed light-gauge trusses. Walls feature steel stud wall framing with masonry veneer, and aluminum framed storefront assemblies.
