This redevelopment project included the demolition of the existing museum and visitor’s center facilities and construction of a new 77,000 SF, 2-story museum facility and associated site, parking, and utility improvements. Overlooking the York River, the museum site sits on an 18-acre parcel. We were tasked with the civil site development aspects of the project including, erosion and sediment control, site and utility layout, grading and drainage, stormwater management, and construction phase services.
