It was just last week that I first shared the news about Draper Aden Associates’ new presence in the Triangle region with our office in Raleigh. I already have another exciting development to share regarding our firm’s growth in North Carolina. Draper Aden has acquired Solutions-IES (“Solutions”), an award-winning environmental consulting, engineering, and remediation firm that partners with clients on collaborative solutions to both routine and highly complex environmental challenges.
We’re delighted to welcome Solutions to the Draper Aden Associates team as this partnership will enhance our firm and allow us to better serve clients in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill corridor and throughout North Carolina. Solutions is an innovative firm that has developed the top bioremediation technology used around the country. It also was the first firm in North Carolina to handle risk-based remediation in the state. Solutions provides a number of offerings to clients, including Soil and Groundwater Remediation, Environmental Technology Development, Site Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Long-Term Site Monitoring, Compliance and Regulatory Support, Sustainability Evaluations and Audits, Remedial Design, Implementation and Optimization, and Stormwater services.
The Solutions team shares our mission to create a lasting, positive impact in the communities we serve. We’re thrilled to welcome 18 team members from Solutions and will operate this group as “Solutions-IES, a Division of Draper Aden Associates.” As Principal-in-charge of Environmental Services for Draper Aden Associates, Mike Lawless will play a major role in the integration of Solutions into our firm. As a result of this acquisition, Draper Aden Associates will be well positioned for further growth and will maintain two office locations in the Triangle region to serve clients.
