Draper Aden Associates is pleased to welcome Chris Herndon to the firm’s Raleigh office as a Senior Project Manager. Licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, Chris joined the Draper Aden team in August. He specializes in conducting structural analyses and inspections and has worked on a wide variety of commercial and residential projects. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University.
Prior to joining Draper Aden, Chris was a Structural Project Manager at Summit Engineering, Laboratory & Testing in Raleigh. He has extensive experience reviewing structural plans and performing third party structural inspections of commercial projects to assess accuracy of as built conditions against sealed structural engineering plans and requirements set forth in local building codes. Chris is the newest addition to Draper Aden’s Raleigh office. The firm expanded its presence in North Carolina in early 2017 by opening a Raleigh office located on the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University. The firm also recently acquired Solutions-IES, an award-winning environmental consulting, engineering and remediation firm based in Raleigh. This strategic growth allows the firm to better serve clients and local communities in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill corridor and throughout North Carolina.
