Jeff Crate Appointed to Virginia Waste Management Board

Proof of Jeff in Office - finalAs of July 1, 2014, Jeff Crate, Senior Consultant to Draper Aden Associates, has been appointed to the Virginia Waste Management Board. As a member of the board, Mr. Crate will help Governor McAuliffe grow Virginia’s economy and strengthen communities throughout the Commonwealth by assisting with state-level waste management issues. His term will last for four years.

Mr. Crate first joined Draper Aden over thirty-one years ago and has served in the capacity of Principal, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Hydrogeologist for hundreds of solid waste management projects conducted in twelve states and internationally. Additionally, Mr. Crate served as a Vice President of Draper Aden Associates.

A graduate of Virginia Tech with degrees in Environmental Engineering (B.S.) and Geology (M.S.), his areas of expertise include landfill gas-to-energy, solid waste management, facility siting, design, and permitting, public relations, regulatory representation, environmental monitoring, and construction phase services.
