This article discusses ‘responsible’ project management, which goes beyond traditional project management goals of delivering projects on time and within budget. The Responsible Project Management (RPM) Initiative outlines 10 principles, helping project managers balance long-term sustainability with short-term goals. It emphasizes creating projects with higher values and avoiding unintended negative consequences, therefore advocating for ethical, long-term and sustainable project management practices.
