How long have you been with the firm and what inspired you most about joining Draper Aden Associates?
I have been with Draper for almost two years. The opportunity to help different communities is what inspired me to join.
Please share with us a few details with us about your role at DAA.
Being a Designer I am heavily involved in the drawings of underground and overhead routes for a confidential client. I am also frequently in the field to photograph power poles and homes on projects.
How has DAA helped you in your career development?
DAA has made me more comfortable with talking to people in general. When I first started, I was very shy, now I must stop myself from talking too much.
What is your favorite part about working for DAA in 3 words?
Building great relationships.
Is there a special project that really stands out to you or one that you’ve worked on that you’re most proud of?
My Hockett Road project makes me most proud. This was my first project and it was very rocky. Now that it is finished, I get so excited when I pass by it.
What is one of the firm’s core values that resonate most with you and why?
Respect. I feel that is the most important thing that you can have in any setting. I like to be treated with respect, so I treat others with respect as well.
Do you have a motto or personal mantra?
Treat people the way you want to be treated.
What is your favorite travel spot?
Florida
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Firefighter
Do you recall any embarrassing moment at work?
Yes. I got out to a project one time and realized I forgot the camera battery.
What is on your wish list for the next 10 years with Draper Aden?
