Draper Aden Pays Tribute to Black History Month

Each year since 1976, February marks the month-long celebration, known as Black History Month, where tributes are paid to generations of African Americans who have struggled with adversity in their lifetime to achieve full citizenship in American society. The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the rest of society, join in to celebrate and promote Black History Month while also highlighting some of America’s African American heroes.

Because Draper Aden Associates is a values-oriented firm with a mission to create a lasting positive impact in the lives of those we serve, we would like to honor some of the African American heroes who have made it their legacy to do the same, having engineered the pathway for many other African Americans.

Each week on our social channels (FacebookLinkedIn and Twitter), DAA will feature an African American hero. We invite you to join us in this series on February 1st to learn more about all of these amazing heroes.

At DAA, we are proud to be a values-oriented firm. We are fortunate to employ exceptional professionals in the industry who make it their mission to live out our firm’s values through their work, in their personal lives, and in the community. Learn more about Draper Aden Associates’ Values.
