Draper Aden Associates Opens Larger Office in Newport News
Office Will Support Continued Growth in Hampton Roads
NEWPORT NEWS, VA – June 15, 2020 – Draper Aden Associates (“DAA”), a Mid-Atlantic engineering, surveying, and environmental services firm, has moved to a larger office in Newport News. Located at 2 BayPort Way in Newport News, this new office provides a more collaborative environment that will foster additional growth on the Peninsula and in the broader Hampton Roads region. DAA also is the first tenant to open an office in this new Class A office building.
The new office includes 4,950 square feet of workspace for DAA team members, which is about twice the size of the firm’s previous office. This move highlights the firm’s growth in the Hampton Roads region, which has increased over 300 percent in recent years.
“We are excited to open this expanded office, which will help our team better serve clients in Hampton Roads and support our strong growth plans,” said Ken Piazza, DAA’s Chief Operating Officer. “This new office also represents our continued investment in the region. As an added point of pride, our team was pleased to provide site design services for this building.”
Among the site design services that DAA provided for 2 BayPort Way were surveying, SUE, civil engineering, and geotechnical engineering.
This office maximizes efficient use of workspace for the 24 team members based in Newport News.
