This summer, Draper Aden Associates acquired Call Sign Engineers in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Since 2009, Call Sign Engineers, a service disabled veteran owned small business, has provided site planning, surveying, roadways, and civil and utilities engineering to the Triangle and Fayetteville area. Draper Aden is excited to welcome this small, but vibrant, group of engineers who know and love the North Carolina Piedmont and Coastal Plains.
Gordon Rose, PE, LEED AP, jack-of-all-trades in site planning and civil and utilities engineering, is a North Carolina native with deep roots in Fayetteville. Since the early 1950s, his family has been involved with providing surveying and engineering services to the rapidly expanding region, and he is excited to continue fostering and expanding relationships in his hometown area through Draper Aden Associates. Heath Wadsworth, PE, LEED AP, specializes in stormwater management and design and is as North Carolina as one can be (it’s said he bleeds Wolfpack Red and White). Jim Reed, PE, site planning and civil and utilities engineer, followed a more circuitous route to the area by way of Colorado and Alaska, but has settled into the East Coast and, we’re sure, appreciates the warmer winters.
The partnership formed through this acquisition signals a move by Draper Aden Associates to grow and extend its impact in the mid-Atlantic region. By combining the expertise of a an established North Carolina company with the resources and capabilities of regional, ENR Top 500 Design Firm, Draper Aden Associates is poised to continue providing a lasting, positive impact to the North Carolina community.
