As a subconsultant to the project architect, Draper Aden Associates provided civil/site design services for Theatre 101, the University's new blackbox theater and Henderson Hall Renovations, located along College Avenue south of the original President's House on the campus of Virginia Tech. The project involved renovation and addition of space for Music, Theatre, Arts and Art History departments at Virginia Tech. In conjunction with the project we also provided planning and design services to address accessibility for a connection from these buildings to the future Creative Arts Centre. Our scope of services also included an Environmental Impact Report, as well as the design of a bioretention basin to capture and treat runoff from the new Theatre, as well as the existing buildings within the project area.

This project has been awarded a LEED Gold rating by the U.S. Green Building Council.
